I was looking for alfalfa sprouts and was directed to BJ’s on Google. But the gentleman said they never carry them. So if you are looking for alfalfa sprouts, save yourself a trip. However, the cafe smelled delish the prices on the menu were very reasonable and produce looked fresh.
Great local place for fresh produce. Come summer time we seek out BJ's for their watermelon and tomatoes. When in season, definitely try a black diamond watermelon or the Cherokee purple tomatoes. Both are winners in our house as are the peaches and cantaloupes. Friendly staff are always ready to help answer any questions you have about what they offer.
First time back since moving out of the area. From the special selection of jams and jelly, I was so happy to find the Pear Jelly and the Jalepeno Pepper Jelly. They are too notch delicious. I also got a delicious juicy sweet red watermelon. Btw, if the watermelon is not good, too ripe or not to your satisfaction, they guarantee you another one, just bring back the half left. They even offer assistance to your car if needed.
Great produce and selection. If you're willing to pay a little extra, it's worth a visit.
Wonderful, hidden gem! Excellent fresh produce. Flash frozen quality clean beef. No better place in NLR for lunch than their restaurant. Get there early before they sell out of the homemade home cooking!
I love this store. They don't have a huge selection of produce but they have the basics. Things that you can grow in Arkansas. They also have local eggs, butter, honey, and jams. The cashier was epic! He managed to talk me into buying some grapes and a tomatoe as well. I will be coming back.
Today I enjoyed the western omelette with a stack of pancakes. The western omelette was cooked to perfection and the pancakes were big, thick, fluffy and flavorful. Also enjoyed a cup of coffee which was hot and fresh. Also enjoy the sausage and biscuits and gravy. The gravy could have been a little better made. it was lacking in true country flavor. But, it was still pretty good. I also visited BJ's produce market located about 50 ft from the restaurant. There's a nice selection of vegetables, fruits, nuts and other canned goods such as jams., jelly's and pie fillings. You can also purchase fresh cracked pecans as well as a jar of the famous million-dollar pickles. There is even a $1.00 table that may have a selection of fruits and vegetables at a discounted price.
